About me

A Vietnamese woman who loves travel to see the world through my own eyes. Co-authored ten books of short stories for teenagers. My first novel, “Over The Hill” was published last two year. From 2010 to 2014, I worked as a professional journalist at Trend & Life magazine, covered inspirational stories about men and women, as well as celebrities in Vietnam.
In June 2014, I quit my job as a PR executive at OCB bank to travel to learn English and accidentally rose to national fame after surviving and writing about an avalanche in Nepal in October 2014, which killed at least 45 people on Annapurna Mountain.
Named one of the Most Influential Young Vietnamese after penning a letter which criticized the Minister of Education in Vietnam and advocated for an increase in English education programs.
The Founder of Volunteer House Vietnam (aka VHV) which provides free accommodation for travelers in exchange for free English lessons for underprivileged children.
